Intended Audience: Year 5-6 primary school students
  • That Celebrated & Eccentric Genius Gould is an interactive Tasmanian eBook for upper primary students.
  • It covers the Australian Curriculum subjects of Science, English, Visual and Media Arts, Digital Technologies and History by exploring marine science, watercolor painting, the craft of book binding, penmanship, colonial history and creative writing. Students create their own portfolios of work through project based learning. The resource can be used for a whole term of teaching.
  • It is funded through the Department of Education's eStrategy program. It was created through a partnership between the Tasmanian Archive and Heritage Office http://www.linc.tas.gov.au/archive-heritage, Department of Education Curriculum Services and No Flicker Films.
