Intended Audience: Primary Schools - South

A new program for Grades 5/6 - includes a classroom visit and a field trip experience.

Classroom visit: Exploring the characteristics of different forest types and adaptations of plants to their environments.

Learn how to use a GPS to navigate and collect co-ordinates of features within your school grounds.

Field trip to Waterworks Reserve: A chance to test our understanding of the classroom learning activities in a field situation. Using our GPS and navigating skills as we observe the features of changing vegetation communities.
