Parks for Free

Intended Audience: All Tasmanian's families, Parents, Carers, School Children, Infants

Celebrate 100 years of national parks in Tasmania and reconnect with nature.
Entry to all national parks will be FREE on:
  • 27-29 August  – when Freycinet and Mount Field national parks will mark their centenary of reservation; and
  • 24 September to 9 October – September school holiday period
This means that patrons will not be required to have a valid national parks pass when visiting any of the 19 national parks during the free entry period.
