OVERLOAD the annual group art exhibition for Haemochromatosis iron overload Awareness Week 2016, opens Friday 5 August at 6 pm. Inherited iron overload is our most common recessive gene disorder - in Australia 1 in 200 people have the condition and 1 in 9 will be a carrier.

Many will not know they have it and early detection is important to ensure that iron overload doesn't cause organ damage. We use art to tell stories and educate the community about this little known but very common condition.
