The Office of the Children's e Safety Commissioner is once again offering free online cyber-safety "virtual classrooms" to Department of Education schools.

These will be held in the Department of Education Virtual Learning Environment as below:
  • Cyber bullying - Fri 10 June 2016, 2:00 - 2.40 pm. Years 4, 5 and 6 students
  • Making good choices online - Mon 20 June, 2016, 2:00 - 2.40 pm. Years 4, 5 and 6 students
To participate, classes need a computer connected to a large screen or IWB, and speakers. A microphone and webcam can be used as well.

As there is some setup and testing involved, we normally run a test session a few days before the actual event.

Non-government schools may also participate in either of these events - please contact by email to discuss.

Department of Education Schools - register at https://www.education.tas.gov.au/intranet/EYS/Curriculum-Services/Curriculum-Support-Centre/Lists/CVC%20Test3/NewForm.aspx
