STEM and Digital Technologies Workshop with Professor Tim Bell

Intended Audience: Teachers

Professor Tim Bell will be visiting Hobart Launceston and Burnie to work with teachers in three after school workshops followed by dinner. These hands on, practical workshops assist in developing teacher confidence and understanding of STEM and the Australian Digital Technologies curriculum.

Tim is the Professor of Computing Studies at Canterbury University in Christchurch New Zealand and responsible for advising the NZ Government on Digital Technologies in the curriculum. He has also been involved with informing the writers of the Australian Curriculum.

The visit will contain hands-on practical applications that supports the curriculum with the opportunity to share a meal and meet with other teachers and Tim in a relaxed and informal setting.
