The Foundation for Young Australians FYA, supported by our Founding Partner NAB, is excited to inform you that our flagship in-school entrepreneurship and financial literacy program, $20 Boss, will be in classrooms nationally from Term 3 this year.

$20 Boss is the ultimate in-school student start-up challenge designed to improve financial literacy, spark creativity, innovative thinking and entrepreneurship. Students receive $20 to plan, budget, market and run their own business idea for one month. Students are encouraged to donate any profits to a local community organisation or charity of their choice, empowering young people to create a better world through business.

$20 Boss is provided free to all schools, with ongoing support from NAB and FYA available to teachers and students.

Young people today are faced with the challenge of growing an economy with a changing workforce. To navigate a changing world that is more complex, global and flexible, they will need to be innovative, creative and enterprising. By giving young people the opportunity to employ these skills at a key stage in their development through in-school programs such as $20 Boss, they will be more likely to have a greater appetite for starting their own enterprises later in life. The program is designed to complement the existing curriculum and ensure young Australians finish school with the enterprising skills they need to thrive in the future world of work.

For more information and to register for the program please visit or contact the Foundation for Young Australians on 03 9670 5436.
