AGFEST Field Days – KAAP, Learning Trail & AG Artwear Competition

Intended Audience: All Schools

On behalf of the Agfest Organising Committee, we would like to bring to your attention that Agfest 2016 will be in 2nd term of the school year and you may wish to include the field day visit as a part of your curriculum. We will be running the Kids Agricultural Awareness Program KAAP, Learning Trail and the Ag Artwear Competition. We have continued our partnership and are working with the University of Tasmania to align our program to the National Curriculum with great prizes to be won.

The Agfest Field Days is being held at Quercus Rural Youth Park on Thursday 5, Friday 6 and Saturday 7 May 2016. The Ag Artwear Competition is held on the Saturday of the Field Days and garments will be displayed on the other days of the Field Days.

Costs for School Groups:
Students: $5 each

Teachers within prescribed student/teacher ratio: $5 each
This price is only available on the presentation of a School Purchase Order at the gate. The school is invoiced after the event.

  • 1:6 Secondary
  • 1 only supervising adult required for University or Groups
The Ag Artwear brochure and entry form which outlines the rules and requirements of the competition is available on our website and entries closes on 8th April 2016. The KAAP Learning Trail passport will be available at the gates and can be downloaded from our website after the 1st May, it will give students a pathway around the site, with information to be researched at each participating site.
