Make, create, explore and play creatively with your child at the MINI MOONAH MAKERS 4 week art program for children 0-5 at the Moonah Art Centre.

Art Educator Josie Chapman will guide you through creative activities to help children's development with colour, shape, pattern, sensory experiences, fine motor skills and a love of art making.

Each week we explore a different theme including: Making a Mark and Colour Mixing, Things that go Squish in our Fingers, Using Natural Materials, and Collage and Construction as we explore printmaking, painting, pastels, natural dying, clay, paper mache, plasticine, collage, threading, wrapping, weaving and all sorts of things that get the busy minds and little hands making.

Over the 4 week program participants will get the opportunity to observe and discuss 40 artworks and to participate in over 40 creative activities. These workshops are relaxed and about supporting a sense of fun, play and creativity, with children exploring at their own pace.

As parents you will get the chance to observe your childs creative process and share ideas and discussions as your explore the materials together.

This program has limited spaces, booking is essential and not confirmed until payment is received. It is $75 per child, with all materials provided. A parent or guardian is to stay during the workshop. Bring your own smock.
