What is International Women's Day?
International Women's Day is a global celebration of the economic, political and social achievements of women. It is a day to acknowledge the contribution of women in so many roles across our communities. The Tasmanian Government is proud to support such an important day. The State Service is one of the biggest employers of women in the State – let's take the opportunity to celebrate this and attend the Big Breakfast.
