Funding Opportunity - Librarian, Archivists, and staff in related fields

Intended Audience: Library & Archivists, Literacy Support Staff,
including School Based Librarians

State Library and Archives Trust meets twice per at which consideration is given to grant applications. The Trust is responsible for administering the Sir John Morris Memorial Trust Fund. This Fund offers grants to workers in library, archives, literacy support services and related fields in Tasmania. It supports
  • Research work in library, archives and related fields
  • A travelling scholarship for relevant course or to attend conferences, workshops or seminars
  • Lecture tours, conferences, workshops or seminars likely to advance knowledge in library, archives and related fields in Tasmania
  • Exchange schemes for workers in relevant areas.
The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 25 November 2015 at which applications for the first half of the 2016 calendar year will be considered.
