Mark O'Leary, Julia Piggin and Susan Searle present this KMEIA Vic - Tas workshop.

Singing is a powerful educational tool, which unlocks many learnings in music. We will explore how singing can be used in games, dances, music appreciation, improvisation, composition, aural development, music literacy and aesthetic education.

Singing based music education is active and engaging for students and leads to a lifetime of involvement in music making. You will come away with a great booklet of notes containing practical ideas to use in your music classroom.
