How old will your students be by 2030? What kind of world do they want to be living in?

During the school holidays, the world's leaders committed to 17 Global Goals to achieve three extraordinary things in the next 15 years: to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and injustice, and address climate change.

Oxfam Australia and UNICEF Australia have teamed up to create an exciting opportunity for students, to tell our nation's leaders them why these goals matter to Australian children.

It's really easy to get involved - simply follow these three steps:

1. Register today to receive the FREE Global Goals postcards and school engagement kit from Oxfam and UNICEF: https://my.oxfam.org.au/campaign/globalgoals/

2. Use the downloadable teaching materials to explore the Global Goals with your students. Ask them to pick the goal most important to them and learn more about it.

3. Students write postcards to their MPs to share their vision for 2030 and how the Global Goals will help achieve the world they want.

Please allow up to two weeks for postcards to arrive in the mail.

The postcard activity and resources are suitable for Primary and Secondary students, and are linked to Australian Curriculum. It's the perfect fun filler activity for the end of term too!

Together we can be among the generation that ends poverty, injustice and inequality for good.
