The Power of Song in the Music Classroom
This is a workshop for Primary and Lower Secondary Music Teachers presented by KMEIA Victoria featuring Mark O'Leary, Julia Piggin and Susan Searle.

Singing is a powerful educational tool, which unlocks many learnings in music. In this workshop we will explore how singing can be used in games, dances, music appreciation, improvisation, composition, aural development, music literacy and aesthetic education. Singing based music education is active and engaging for students and leads to a lifetime of involvement in music making.
You will come away with a great booklet of notes containing practical ideas to use in your music classroom
