Your input will help to inform and influence the National Disability Insurance Agency to make the National Disability Insurance Scheme autism responsive and friendly.

The National Disability Insurance Agency would like your views about how best to communicate with people with autism, their families and carers.

Autism Tasmania would like to invite you to attend one of a number of sessions that will be held around Tasmania, on the following dates:

Hobart ~ 24 August 2015
St Helens ~ 25 August 2015
Launceston ~ 26 August 2015
Ulverstone ~ 27 August 2015
Queenstown ~ 28 August 2015

In each region, we will hold three sessions to capture the unique views across the lifespan of people with autism:

0-5 years ~ 9:30 am - 11:00 am
6-18 years ~ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
18+ years ~ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Sessions are open to people with lived experience, their parents/carers and families. Autism Tasmania particularly encourages its members to participate. We would be grateful if you could please express your interest in attending the session most relevant to you by phone 1300 288 476 or emailing by 14 August 2015.

Unable to join one of these sessions?  FLYER
No problem. We can also facilitate an evening session in each region, or be available by Skype, telephone or in person. Please let us know if you are not available at the scheduled times and we will do our best to accommodate your individual needs.

This is not your only opportunity to have your say! An online survey will follow later in the year where you will again be invited to provide your views.
