Intended Audience: Year 4 - 6 Students & Teachers


Students in Years 4 -6 have the chance to find out what it's like to work as a scientist! During the Science Fair, they'll take part in in three different inquiry based activities under the guidance of University staff and students. Participating teachers will also obtain some new ideas for activities to take back to the classroom.

Presented by the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology as part of National Science Week and Welcome Home Week activities, the Science Fair involves students, teachers, pre-service teachers and the Young Tassie Scientists.

In 2015, the Science Fair will be held on Tuesday 1 September at the Activities Centre, UTAS Sandy Bay campus.

Expressions of interest are required by Friday 14 August. You'll be notified of your booking request within the week.
