The Tasmanian History Teachers' Association (THTA) will be holding a one day conference at Ogilvie High School, Hobart on Saturday 15 August.

Workshops will focus on the ways in which History can be taught through stories.
The following workshops have been confirmed:
  • Schooling, Service and the Great War – Rosalie Triolo, Monash University
  • Convict Voyages through an online game – Craig Dow-Sainter, ROAR Films
  • Founders Storylines - Craig Dow-Sainter, ROAR Films
The role of fiction and non-fiction history books in an online age, David Boon, Albuera Primary School

Teaching History though Images – Jan Hunt, Ogilvie High School

Further workshops and presenters will be confirmed in the coming weeks. A full program will be available next term.
To register, please complete the attached registration form and send payment via direct debit to the account details provided on the form. A membership form for the THTA is also attached. Membership for the THTA is valid for 12 months.
