Intended Audience: Primary Schools - Launceston & North East

Come along and explore the forest from the soil to the canopy. Find out how forest systems work, discover tiny invertebrates and measure giant trees, just some of the things we can do whilst learning about our forests; their ecology, their history and the ways in which people interact with forest environments.

All activities are hands-on, involve whole class and small group activities and are linked to the Australian Curriculum.

The Forest Education Foundation teachers will plan your program with you to suit your curriculum focus and meet the needs of your students. Our Risk Assessment Plan for the site is available to assist with your planning.

Bring two classes - each will have an FEF teacher for the day and you can share the transport costs!
