Professional Enrichment Session
Contemporary Art - Down & Dirty with visual photographer Nicole Robson
Wednesday 12 August, 4.00 pm – 6.00 pm

Knock off work, grab a glass of wine, and spend an evening getting to know a living artist! An adults-only, hands on session.

Nicole Robson works primarily within the popular field of 'construction' or 'fabrication' photography which involves carefully curating scenes, people and objects to manufacture visual scenarios. Nicole received a Masters in Fine Art in 2012 and was selected for the group exhibition and publication "reGeneration2: Tomorrow's Photographers Today" by the Aperture Foundation (New York) and Musee de l'Elysee (Switzerland).

In this session Nicole will lead you through the steps of creating a constructed photograph; from the collection of props to set construction, working with models, creating invented narratives and more.
Participants may bring their own digital camera, but this is not essential.

Bookings are essential and can be made online here: www.tmag.tas.gov.au/learning_and_discovery/bookings
