We invite teachers and their students to attend Devonport Regional Gallery and view our new exhibition, Something New Something Blue.

Something New Something Blue is an exhibition of works from the Devonport City Council Permanent Collection. In keeping with the old rhyme, 'Something old, something new', this exhibition marries recently acquired works with pieces previously held in the Collection, all of which share a thematic interest in 'the blues'.

The Gallery's Education Program is delivered across all education levels. Students will be guided through the exhibition by Gallery staff, learning about materials, color theory and artistic intent.

The program addresses the following key components of the Visual Art Curriculum:
• Using skills, techniques and processes
• Using codes and conventions
• Interpreting and appraising the works of others
• Making aesthetic choices
• Expressing personal voice

All visits are FREE. We recommend visits last for a minimum of 45 minutes.
