Aspirations Matter 2015 is set to be an exciting day with keynote addresses from Professor Kim Beswick from the School of Education and Phillip Wells, Principal of the Glenora District High School. The symposium will not only showcase the aspiration raising work occurring in Tasmania but also host workshops to develop ideas, programs and improve ongoing work.

A number of workshops to address key issues around raising aspirations of the community will be followed by a panel discussion between key industry and community members, and university staff including Professor Kim Beswick, Phillip Wells, Elizabeth Daly OAM, Professor Maggie Walter and Damian Collins, on how to continue to raise aspirations of the community.

Aspirations Matter will be held on 26 June 2015 with arrival from 10:00 AM at the School of Architecture & Design, Inveresk Campus. Starting at 10:30 AM and concluding at 4:30 PM.

This is an excellent opportunity to discuss raising aspirations of the community, learn what the University of Tasmania has accomplished in the area and speak with members of staff engaged in this work.
