The Australian Curriculum and Home Economics Workshop, preparing for change and adjusting the status quo

Intended Audience: Teachers of Home Economics, Foods and Catering, HPE and Design Technology

Teachers are invited to attend this workshop and plan for the implementation of the Australian Curriculum in their learning areas teams. A catch up/recap session will be run from 8.30 am - 10.00 am for those participants who have had limited opportunities to plan with the HPE and Technologies Australian Curriculum. The second and third sessions commencing at 10.00 am will focus on planning units of work and using the achievement standards. Cross curricular and integrating general capabilities through health literacy, using the inquiry process will be explored. Dr Janet Reynolds, HEIA QLD and ACARA panel representative will present the workshops (see flyer)
