Press Play Youth Week Event

Intended Audience: 12-25 year olds, interested in film, hip hop, Art and photography

PRESS PLAY is an event being run by Glenorchy City Council and Pulse Health South. It's all happening in the last week of holidays on Friday April 17 between 2-6pm and its free for all young people.

Many things to keep you entertained for hours; Activities, Art & photography exhibition, Movie premiere of "My First Time" (how hip hop changed my life) and Live Hip Hop.

Featuring Big Money, MC Click, MYBoys, Sparky, Hazard, Payday, Frostee, Eden, Dark Matter and more

There also will be free food available
This event is drug and alcohol free.

A part of National Youth Week 10-19 April.

My First Time has been conceived and Directed by Jobe Hazard Boucher, the organiser of the famous Battle at the Bowl. Featuring hip hop artists from the Pulse Studios, who reveal the place that Hip Hop has in their lives as a great force for change. What it was like, the first time, to record a song and feel life changing forever.

As part of the same event Glenorchy Council are holding a fabulous Press Play ART and Photography competition. Open to all 12- 25 year olds you can win great prizes including a Samsung Galaxy Tablet.

All entries have to use the theme "PRESS PLAY"
