ICT competition - Young ICT Explorers

Do you have some students who are developing interesting ICT related projects?

Consider entering them in Young ICT Explorers, a free competition designed to encourage school students to create their best Information and Communication Technology (ICT) related projects.

Young ICT Explorers (YICTE) Competition is coming to Hobart this year with the judging event to be held on 22 August 2015 at The University of Tasmania, Sandy Bay.

The competition targets Years 3-12 students and has 5 divisions: Year 3-4, Year 5-6, Year 7-8, Year 9-10 and Year 11-12.

Each project is assessed on the criteria of creativity, uniqueness, quality, level of difficulty and project documentation.

Key dates:
Registration Deadline: 26 June, 2015 - Teachers need to register their anticipated school's teams by the end of the day on this date.
Submission Deadline: 21 July 2015 for Tasmania - this is the final day for submission of projects.

Judging Event: (invitation only): 22 August 2015.
