EngQuest has launched for 2015! EngQuest is an initiative of Engineers Australia providing an exciting, non-competitive way for students to participate in free, fun and educational engineering activities involving science, technology and mathematics.

EngQuest provides curriculum-appropriate classroom engineering projects that all include instructions, background information, lesson and activity ideas and student activity sheets. There are projects for lower primary, primary and middle years students.

In the last twelve months, the Australian Curriculum has changed and included subject areas such as Civics and Citizenship and Technologies. To reflect these changes we have updated the projects to link to these areas, so you can fit more EngQuest into your school year!

Last year, we had an overwhelming 112,000 students participating in the program around Australia. We are so thrilled to reach so many schools and communities and hopefully guide a next generation of engineers. Here at Engineers Australia, we think it is very important to nurture education in STEM subjects, and the best way to deliver these lessons is through engineering! Utilising science, technology and mathematics, the EngQuest projects provide real-world applications to tricky subjects, and show how these skills can lead to cool careers.

We hope you will join us again this year to participate in EngQuest! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or need further information.

Happy engineering!
