The Richard Selby Smith Oration is a high profile free public lecture, organised by the Tasmanian Branch of the Australian College of Educators, supported by the Selby Smith Family and UTAS, attended by Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Kate Warner, Governor of Tasmania. Professor Selby Smith made significant contributions to education nationally and in Tasmania over a long period. Selby was a foundation member of the ACE and an active and long serving member of the ACE Tasmanian Branch.

Guest Speaker

Adjunct Professor Erica McWilliam, ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation Queensland University of Technology will deliver the oration entitled: 'The Future is not what it used to be'.

The free public lecture is followed by a dinner, University Club - Members $70 ACE/- Non-members $75.
