Hobart LINC and the Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts invite you to a talk by author Ross McMullin about his award winning book Farewell, dear people: biographies of Australia's lost generation.

The book was awarded the Prime Minister's Prize for Australian History and also the National Cultural Award. It's a multi-biography about ten remarkably talented Australians who displayed exceptional potential in diverse spheres and specialties before the war, and when they did not survive the conflict became a national-level loss because they were so special.
