Ross McMullin speaks on WWI commander Pompey Elliott

Join us on 12 March from 2.00 - 3.00pm to hear award-winning writer, Dr Ross McMullin, speak about WWI commander Major General Harold Edward "Pompey" Elliott.

Dr McMullin is a historian and biographer whose main interests are Australian history, politics, and sport. He has researched and written extensively about the impact on Australia of its involvement in World War I. Dr McMullin's books include his biographies, the award-winning Pompey Elliott, Will Dyson: Australia's radical genius and Farewell, Dear People: biographies of Australia's lost generation.

We encourage history teachers to consider bringing senior high school and college students along.
