Intended Audience: Educators & parents

An evening for parents and teachers with Alison Hopwood

Alison is a paediatric occupational therapist and is the owner of Independent Kids – Occupational Therapy. Alison is passionate about working with families to assess and address children's sensory issues, concentration and attention, fine and gross motor skills, handwriting, developmental skills, problem solving skills, play and socialisation and self care.

Many gifted children show poor handwriting. Is this simply a matter of their brains working faster than their hands or does it go deeper than that?

Alison will present some ideas on how to develop handwriting in the classroom and at home.
