Schools Future Thinking competition

Intended Audience: All Tasmanian school students and their school communities

As part of Hydro Tasmania's 100 year celebration we are asking students in grades 5-10 to share their ideas about the future of energy by answering one or both of the following questions:
  • How will people use energy 100 years from now?
  • Where will energy come from in 100 years?
Entries must be 100 words or less and can be accompanied by images, photos, graphics etc.

Winning entries will be selected in three grade categories (5-6, 7-8, 9-10) and winners will receive a $150 gift voucher from Dick Smith Electronics for themselves, and an energy efficiency audit for thier school (valued at around $3000).

To enter, students simply visit the competition website and fill out the online entry form (including uploading a consent form signed by their parent or guardian).
