safeTALK Suicide Alertness for Everyone – Tell, Ask, Listen & Keep safe

safeTALK is 3 hour program designed for anyone over 15, of any background or experience, who wants to know more about helping a person who has thoughts of suicide. The program is supported by Tasmanian Community Fund, Newman's Own Foundation, Igniting Change and TASPLAN and offered at no cost to the community.

safeTALK will teach you:
  • To recognise that a person may be having thoughts of suicide.
  • To engage the person in direct and open talk about suicide.
  • To help the person connect with someone who is trained in suicide intervention.
