Intended Audience: early childhood education providers (0-6 years)

Toilet Training Children with Special Needs is a free one day workshop for professionals that work with families and children with special needs, especially early intervention and early education service providers.

The workshop is based on the highly regarded resource, One Step at a Time: a parent's guide to toilet skills for children with special needs. Facilitated by a multidisciplinary team of professionals, the workshop covers:
  • Developing toilet skills 
  • Strategies to assist in learning toilet skills
  • Constipation and its effects
  • Diet and bowel health
  • Toilet training app
  • Toileting programs
  • World Continence Week 2014
