Intended Audience: Primary schools - Launceston and North East

Come along and explore Mt Barrow. Find out more about the ecology of the forest and how this natural system works. Investigate the history of human from the early 1940's through to the present.

The Forest Education Foundation (FEF) teachers will plan your program with you to suit your interests and curriculum requirements. All activities are hands-on, involve teamwork and are based around the Australian Curriculum, Science and Geography.

An excellent location for single class groups (suitable to years 5 & 6) to explore and participate in a variety of engaging, hands-on learning activities. The Forest Education Foundation provide all the equipment needed.

Cost: $150 per class group per day. Schools arrange own transport.
The day runs from approx (9.30am - 2.15pm and includes a break for lunch at sheltered BBQ area with toilets.
