The Robogals Science Challenge is back for 2014 and we want YOU to be part of the action!

ROBOGALS is an international, student-run organisation introducing young women to engineering and technology. The competition challenges girls to create one or more science projects, submit photos (for minor projects) and a short 'show and tell' video (for major project) of their discoveries.

The competition consists of two parts: the Minor Challenges and the Major Challenge.

Minor Challenges: The initial part of the competition where participants have the option of undertaking mini-experiments. These mini-experiments will introduce girls to a wide range of engineering and science fields and act as a 'warm up' to the Major Challenge.

Major Challenge: The final part of the competition where participants create their own experiment and submit a short video to show their findings. This project will be judged by a special panel.

The competition is open to girls aged between 5 and 15 years and is divided into three age groups. Participants have the option of entering as an individual or a team of two, accompanied by a mentor who is over the age of 18 years.

Registration is free and opens 2 June, 2014 on the Science Challenge website.

We look forward to your involvement!
