Know the Odds at Your School

The Heritage Isle Tornadoes Basketball Club has teamed up with the Tasmanian Government's Know Your Odds campaign. Together we offer your school the opportunity to participate in our innovative new program that links in with the Australian HPE curriculum: Personal, Social and Community Health.

The campaign provides information about the realities of commercial gambling and its potential impact on Personal and Social Health, provides information on safe and healthy alternatives to gambling and information on where to find help.

The Torn's Know Your Odds Project features our star players as the campaign's newest ambassadors, helping to explain the myths and misunderstandings of gambling.

Students will participate in a 60 minute education session including: Basketball skills workshop
