Professional development for conductors of school & youth choirs
David Lawrence, one of the UK's most renowned and versatile conductors is known internationally for his techniques conducting young people. Don't miss your chance to 'fine tune' established skills to improve and build on your current teaching practice.

When: Saturday 5 July, 9.30am – 4pm
Where: Farrall Centre, The Friends' School

For more workshop information visit the Festival of Voices website.

Big World, Small Voices
The Big World, Small Voices collaboration brings together the bilingual voices of young Tasmanian and Shanghai singers. This is an amazing opportunity for singers 10 – 17yrs to work with choirmasters from Opera Australia, conductor composer Gordon Hamilton and choristers from Shanghai.

The repertoire will be bilingual with the intention that 15 successful Tasmanian young voices will travel to Shanghai next year for the 2015 Shanghai Spring Festival.

Auditions on 25 May (enthusiasm by students for the project is highly valued).
