Catering for the needs of students who are mathematically talented can be a challenge for many teachers. The Nurturing Mathematical Talent professional development program is for teachers (years 5-8) who have such students in their class this year.

The program consists of four afternoon workshops, facilitated by experienced mentors to explore the use of the enrichment materials published by the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT).

Teachers work collaboratively to develop their knowledge and confidence in using the AMT materials to extend their mathematically talented students.

Costs associated with the program are supported by the sponsoring organisations, so all materials are free. The only cost to the school is for any relief needed for teachers to attend.

See flyer for more information, location and date details.
