What's it like to be a polar scientist? To walk on the ice sheets of Antarctica, understand the extraordinary seasonal freeze-up and melt back of the sea ice zone, investigate the myriad organisms that inhabit the polar ocean and sea ice, and explore the abyssal depths of the Southern Ocean?

Come along to meet our polar scientists, listen to their unique experience, and play polar science games to understand the science we do and why it's important.
