Ideas to incorporate Human Rights Week (3-10 December 2013) in your teaching.

There is a need for a greater recognition of the role of human rights education in improving student understanding of human rights and building civic values. Burridge, N., Payne, A. & Varnham, S. (2013) Human Rights Education in the School Curriculum, University of Technology Sydney.

Here are some quick ideas for introducing human rights in your classroom.
