How to Book Da Vinci Machines - The Original Machines Exhibition
Burnie Regional Art Gallery and the Burnie City Council are extremely excited to welcome the Da Vinci Machines Exhibition in February 2014. This exhibition comes from the Museum of Leonardo da Vinci in Florence, Italy.

Leonardo da Vinci (1452 - 1519) was not only a great painter, most famous for his work the Mona Lisa, but also a great inventor and investigator of physics. This exhibition proudly presents in excess of 60 machines created from the original Da Vinci drawings and , for the first time in Tasmania, 15 exquisite reproductions of Leonardo da Vinci's artworks will travel with the exhibition, including The Last Supper and the Mona Lisa.

Visiting the Gallery
You will need to allow at least one hour to view the exhibition. A Gallery guide will be provided at your request, otherwise you are welcome to work through the exhibition on your own. Regardless of whether you request a guided tour or not, you must make a booking with the Gallery prior to your visit.

In addition, there is a 50 minute film that accompanies the exhibition - Da Vinci Genius. You will need to allow additional time should you wish your class to view it.
