What's Next in Education Research?

The conference will showcase the latest research being conducted by Postgraduate students of the Faculty, on topics such as:
  • 'What's next in the evolution of alternative education for disengaged students?'
  • 'Parents' experiences of reporting bullying to schools: A narrative approach.'
  • 'Listening to teen YouTube users' voice to boost participation in learning spaces.'
In addition, round table sessions will provide participants with the opportunity to discuss a range of topics, including getting your PhD started and finished, managing your academic career and getting published in academic journals.

And featuring - A debate with a difference:
'Fudging numbers and mincing words' attempts to answer the perennial academic question: Is qualitative research better than quantitative research?

Join us for this finale, which is sure to be highly entertaining, featuring "Emeritus Professor of Multisyllabic Prosody" (Cameron Hindrum), and "Associate Professor with 95% confidence" (Helen Chick).
