Tasmanian School Human Rights Award: Nominations Closing

Nominations for all 2013 Tasmanian Human Rights Awards close on 30 September 2013.

The school award is one of nine separate awards and provides a $500 prize towards further school-based human rights activities.

Award winners are selected from those who are actively engaged in the promotion or protection of human rights in Tasmania. Categories are:-
  • School (sponsored by A Fairer World)
  • Individual
  • Organisation
  • Youth
  • Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD)-focussed activity
  • LGBTI-focussed activity
  • Mental Health-focussed activity (NEW)
  • Sport
  • Angus Downie Print Journalism Award
All Award winners will receive a certificate and $500 at the conferring ceremony on Monday 2 December at Parliament House.

All nominations must be on an official Nomination Form and submitted by 5pm on Monday 30 September 2013.
