InPulse Open Day

Intended Audience: 12–24 year olds and service providers

An invitation to young people aged 12-24 and Service Providers to InPulse; an open day for Pulse Youth Health South. Rebecca White MP Member for Lyons will be launching a new guide for Youth Workers and Youth Service Managers “Smoking ‘ But it’s the least of their problems…’”. As part of the day we have Working It Out coming to offer training on engaging with young people who are lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender and intersex.

InPulse Open Day being held on Thursday 10 October 2013. 

There are 3 events on the day – join us for one or all:
10.30am-12.30pm working it out free interactive training for service providers, providing insight into the lived experiences of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex Tasmanians. Registration form is a must, so please register quickly as places are limited.

1.00-4.00pm Free lunch and InPulse Open Day – for young people and service providers. Join us for lunch, drop-in to find out more about Pulse, bring young people, meet our workers, have fun participating in health and wellbeing activities, and come away with lots of info and resources. This is a great school holiday activity – please promote it amongst young people you are working with!

2.00pm Launch of “Smoking ‘But it’s the least of their problems…’” Rebecca White MP Member for Lyons will be launching this Guide for Youth Workers and Youth Service Managers in Tasmania. Don’t miss this opportunity to check out this great resource on helping young people to quit or reduce their smoking.
