Did you know there are more than 3 000 highly skilled people working in Tasmania's science research sector? We want to know what you feel the important issues are. Tell us what you want scientists to do for your community for your chance to win an iPad.

Competition is open to all Tasmanian residents, please pass on to your friends, family and colleagues.

What will we do with your responses?

As part of the state's science research sector growth strategy Reaching our potential: developing Tasmania's science research capability, the Tasmanian Government is developing a list of science research priorities. These priorities will inform the Tasmanian Government's decision making on science research investment to help meet the current and future needs of the state. In developing these priorities, the Tasmanian Government is seeking input from a range of key stakeholders, including the Tasmanian science research sector, those Tasmanian Government departments investing in science research to carry out their regulatory and policy responsibilities, Tasmanian businesses and industries, as well as the Tasmanian public in general. Your feedback will contribute to this process.

A report providing an analysis of the public responses to the competition will be available on the website  in late 2013.

Check the website for terms and conditions.
