2013 Young Australian of the Year in Tasmania

A Fairer World is pleased to be able to present public talks by inspiring young Australians in both Launceston and Hobart.

Both are in Tasmania as keynote speakers for the 2013 Fairer World Festival, Tasmania's largest youth social justice event.

LAUNCESTON
Young Social Pioneer and founder of Useful Inc, TIM KENWORTHY.
Tim will be introduced by VGen State Manager, LAURA SYKES.

The people of Launceston are invited to take this opportunity to be inspired by Young Social Pioneer Tim Kenworthy and hear his unique perspectives on young people, doing good and being nice to each other.

Refreshments will be available and there will be an opportunity to meet informally with Tim, staff and local supporters of A Fairer World including:-

HOBART
2013 Young Australian of the Year, AKRAM AZIMI.
Akram will be introduced by Tasmanian Anti-Discrimination Commissioner & A Fairer World Patron, ROBIN BANKS.

Akram will talk about his unique perspectives on the journey from refugee to advocate. His advocacy has encompassed remote Indigenous communities, people with a disability and the global war on polio.
