Water Warriors Program. Free to all schools in Southern Tasmania. TasWater and Greening Australia have teamed up to deliver Water Warriors to year 5 and 6 classes. Water Warriors aims to inspire young people to be leaders in their community and to promote the sustainable use of water resources.

The Water Warriors program involves a science inquiry into the value of water as a precious resource. Greening Australia offers two 90 minutes hands on sessions, and a planning session.

The hands on sessions occur over the term, while the class works independently on their own investigations and discoveries.

Supporting Resource: 'Water Power: Water Conservation in Action'. This is an integrated 6-8 week unit for the middle years.

Water Warriors is available to all schools in Southern Tasmania at no cost and is generously supported by TasWater. Book your spot today.
