A presentation by Dr. Richard Luecking on what needs to be in place to seamlessly transition students with a disability from formal schooling  and into paid employment.

Dr Luecking is an policy advisor to the Obama Government and has lectured in a number of countries on models that promote inclusion and a  valued life for people with a disability. To often students with a  disability exit from school either into a segregated non work service or into 'nothing'. Dr. Luecking will talk about another option, a seamless transition from school into paid employment prior to formal schooling
ending or soon after.

There are two sessions in Hobart and two in Launceston. One is for parents and the other for service providers. All sessions are very much focussed on the 'how to' rather than the theories that stand behind the concept of inclusive education and work.
