Bringing Nonfiction Writing to Life in Your Classroom

ALEA Tas. South invites you to attend a professional learning workshop with Dr. Tony Stead.
Date: Thursday 8 August 9:00am-3:00pm

Dr. Tony Stead will share his proven instructional strategies for teaching students to become effective writers of nonfiction. He will show how to teach students to be 'real writers' for 'real purposes'.

Issues to be addressed will include:
  • How to plan and manage your writing program for the year
  • Making links with content studies
  • Innovative techniques that will excite and motivate kids
  • Giving children a structure to help them write
Venue: Tattersall's Park Function Centre, Glenorchy - Morning Tea and Lunch Provided
