Social Stories assist the child to learn to understand the social world. Social Stories describe a situation or social concept and provide the social cues, perspectives and common responses needed for the child gain understanding.

Comic Strip Conversations use stick figures, speech and thought bubbles to show the words, thoughts and feelings or people in a conversation. They are particularly useful for supporting the teaching of perspective or Theory of Mind. They help the child understand the perspetive of others, navigate a problem and practise the right language for the situation.
