A free 1 hour presentation on the impacts of having a chronic illness

Approximately 12-15% of Australian students have a chronic illness. For many of these students, long absences from school, coupled with impacts from their illness, negatively impact their educational achievement and personal wellbeing.

EDMed focuses on identifying potential physical, emotional, social and cognitive impacts, as well looking at various strategies to help minimise such impacts and help maintain school connectedness.
